Community reviews

When you submit a review, we store the display name, star rating, review text, restaurant, and submission time. Staff moderate submissions before publication. Approved reviews display your chosen name, rating, and text publicly. Please do not include private contact details or other sensitive information in a review. Taste AZ community reviews are separate from Google reviews.

Restaurant page views and browser storage

We count restaurant page visits by restaurant and day. A marker in your browser's session storage helps avoid counting the same restaurant repeatedly during a browsing session. These daily totals help staff understand which places interest readers; the counter does not ask for your name or email.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and server logs, to deliver the site and maintain security. You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings.

Staff accounts and restaurant submissions

Staff accounts use an email address, profile name, assigned role, and authentication information. Sign-in cookies maintain staff sessions. Supabase provides authentication, database storage, and private menu-file storage. When an administrator runs an AI restaurant scan, the submitted website content and menu source are sent to OpenAI to prepare a draft for staff review.

Google advertising and your choices

Taste AZ has applied to Google AdSense. Advertising is not currently enabled. If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this site or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using that browsing activity.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and participating vendors through YourAdChoices. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites. Where consent is required for advertising cookies, an applicable consent choice must be provided before those cookies are used.

Restaurant websites and reservation links

Restaurant, menu, Google Maps, and reservation links may take you to another provider. Those providers handle information under their own privacy policies. A restaurant reservation made on another website is handled by that website, not by Taste AZ.

Privacy requests and corrections

Email hurtadomartini@gmail.com with privacy questions, requests to remove or correct your review, or restaurant information corrections. Include the relevant page link and enough detail to identify the request. Please do not email passwords, payment details, or identity documents.
